RISE is a local non profit organization in Colorado Springs. It stands for “Resilient Inspired Strong Engaged” and it’s main goal is to strengthen the 80916 zip code community. They aim to build up and develop the local area and support it’s neighborhood and community. They organize events for the locals and work together to improve infrastructure, culture, education within the area.
The project for RISE was a re-branding, that included improvement of their original logo as well as creating a corporate identity for them.
They were looking for a brand that invites all age groups that represents fun and community. We used two primary colors, a bright blue that is delightful and welcoming and a dark blue for professionalism. The color blue also symbolizes trust, and loyalty that are further values of RISE.
The logotype is a clean rounded font that is welcoming and is complemented with a more masculine and bold secondary font.
We added a slogan “Together we RISE” to the brand along with a quotation mark and border element that can be seen on all the branded pieces.
Along with the logo and branding, a stationery package including letterhead, business card and envelop was also presented. As well as a two sided brochure describing the mission, values, and activity of the organization. Lastly, a direct mail marketing piece was also designed that’s aim was to target the 80916 zip code community to invite them to a RISE organize neighborhood local community fun event.
