Chiq was a re-branding concept for a local small restaurant, that is famous for it’s chicken and waffles.
Their previous logo mark was a detailed chicken that was transformed into a simplified illustration for a modern look.
The brand colors are red, yellow, and black that are popular choices for food related companies, although for Chiq is rather a happy coincidence since the color of the waffles and the chicken were applied.
The logo font is a bold quirky and playful font with rough edges paired with a tall skinny font adding a little bit of southern character.
The logo is presented on a paper cup along with a take-out box packaging design with the tagline #eatyourchiq.
